Hendrick Charity Ride scheduled for Aug. 24 - The fourth annual Hendrick Charity Ride benefiting The Hendrick Foundation for Children will take place Sunday, Aug. 24.

For a $25 donation, riders will receive a Hendrick Charity Ride t-shirt, lunch and admission to all the after-ride activities, including a concert by country music artist Blake Wise.

Chicagoland Results - Jimmie Johnson led the way for Hendrick Motorsports in Saturday night's LifeLock.com 400 from Chicagoland Speedway finishing second. Jeff Gordon was 11th, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was 16th and Casey Mears was 33rd. Kyle Busch won the Sprint Cup Series event.

Heading into the final off weekend of the season before a 17-race stretch leading to the crowning of the 2008 champion, Earnhardt Jr. is second in the standings with Johnson fifth, Gordon 6th and Mears 24th. The Sprint Cup Series returns to action at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27th. Live coverage of the race will begin at 1:00 pm on ESPN.
