Rain falling at Lowe's - Rain is delaying the start of Sprint Cup Series practice at Lowe's Motor Speedway this afternoon. Cup teams were scheduled to hit the track at 3 p.m. ET, but that's not happened yet. Time trials for Cup teams, barring any future delays, will begin at 7:10 p.m. ET and can be seen on SPEED.

Brad Keselowski will attempt to make his first career Cup start tonight, driving the No. 25 GoDaddy Chevy.

Talladega Results - Jimmie Johnson led the way for Hendrick Motorsports finishing ninth in Sunday's AMP Energy 500 from Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Casey Mears was 14th, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was 28th and Jeff Gordon was 38th. Tony Stewart won the Sprint Cup Series race.

Johnson continues to lead the Chase for the Sprint Cup standings while Gordon is eigth, Earnhardt Jr. is 10th and Mears is 22nd. Saturday night the series will be at Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 500. Live coverage of the event begins at 7:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
