HANGER
A lugnut that does not completely come off the stud, and hangs by the thread.

INDEX
When a tire carrier places a wheel on the studs, an index occurs when the studs and lugnuts on the wheel are in proper alignment.

ROTATION
When the tire carrier does not index, or when the studs and lugnuts do not line up properly.

SET THE CHAINS
Chains are set to make sure the rear wheels will come off of the ground with one pump of the jack.

WHEEL STUD
Attaches to the hub assembly and allows the wheel to be tightened with lug nuts. There are five studs per wheel.
