CONCORD, N.C. – In advance of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, Jimmie Johnson and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) have teamed up to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
Fans have the opportunity to submit their name to be featured on the pink-colored pace car for the race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway “roval.”
Whether you are a survivor, advocate, know someone affected by the disease, want to honor a loved one or simply want to support the initiative, placing your signature somewhere on the pace car for this year’s race will go toward the fight against breast cancer.
For every name submitted, BCBSNC will donate $5 to Komen partners in North Carolina.
In addition to the donation, each entry will also be entered for a chance to win a ride in the pace car at the race.
