SPEEDWAY, Ind. – Sunday morning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Jimmie Johnson led Hendrick Motorsports by qualifying fifth for the Brickyard 400 later this afternoon.
Following him in qualifying was teammate Alex Bowman, who will roll off the grid 13th. Chase Elliott qualified 24th and William Byron qualified 29th.
Kevin Harvick captured the pole.
