CONCORD, N.C. – For the very first time, Jeff Gordon is set to give away a very special Camaro from his private collection to benefit children fighting cancer.

Fittingly, the iconic driver of the No. 24 Chevy throughout his NASCAR Hall of Fame career has chosen a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 convertible with VIN 24.

Tickets to win the car are now available through Jan. 31, 2020, for $100 each at CamaroForACure.org, and only 10,000 tickets will be sold. Gordon will personally hand over the keys and sign over the title to the winner.

“Camaro has set the standard when it comes to high-performance cars,” Gordon said, “but this is the ZL1 – which also happens to be VIN No. 24 – which is the most power, the highest performing and has all the bells and whistles on it.”

The gray metallic car features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 580 horsepower. The six-speed automatic transmission ride goes from 0-60 mph in four seconds.

While it’s the first time Gordon has given away a Camaro, he has held the Corvette for a Cure program for 14 years, raising nearly $9 million – including $1 million in each of the last three years – for life-saving research in the fight against childhood cancer.
