Hendrick Announces Fan Photo Contest

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 6, 2004) – Throughout the past two decades, NASCAR fans have been a great source of support, encouragement and inspiration to the entire Hendrick Motorsports organization. Today, Hendrick is pleased to announce its “20 Years of Racing Fan Photo Contest,” celebrating the accomplishments of its drivers and teams as seen through the eyes of those that matter most -- the fans. The top-20 photographs submitted by fans that capture Hendrick history both on and off of the race track will qualify for $100 gift certificates to the Hendrick Team Store. One grand-prize winner will receive a pair of tickets to the UAW-GM Quality 500 on Oct. 16 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hendrick Motorsports complex. Winning photos will be announced Sept. 1. Selected fan photographs will also be displayed in the Hendrick Motorsports Museum and on HendrickMotorsports.com.
