CONCORD, N.C. – There was a lot to celebrate Thursday night. Not only was it a culmination of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, but Chase Elliott was honored with the National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver Award presented by Hooters for the second consecutive year.
Even more than that, drivers also got spend a little time with the fans who have cheered them on all season long.
