CONCORD, N.C. -- Saturday’s qualifying at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been canceled due to weather.
The NASCAR Cup Series was scheduled to qualify at 2:35 p.m. ET, but rain was falling steadily at the track Saturday morning, meaning the lineup was set per the NASCAR rule book.
Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team will be at the head of the pack for Hendrick Motorsports, starting at 10th.
Teammate William Bryon will line up next to Elliott in 11th, while Alex Bowman will sit directly behind Elliott in 12th.
Jimmie Johnson, who has the most Las Vegas Motor Speedways wins with four, will roll off the grid at 18th.
Kyle Busch will take the green flag from pole position.
The race at Las Vegas is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday and will be broadcast on FOX and PRN radio.
