The latest version of the site, which received more than 1 million visits in 2003, marks the second re-design since HendrickMotorsports.com was initially launched in 1998. Highlights include: * Regularly updated news and notes. * Statistics dating back to the team’s inception in 1984. * Virtual dyno and “Build-the-Cars” section. * Image galleries, wallpaper and downloadable videos. * 360-degree tours of Hendrick races cars, engines and facilities. * Fan contests and polls. * Tracks section, with statistics and other venue-specific information. * A “20 Years of Racing” area, highlighting the team’s 20th anniversary. * Tech segment, featuring the chassis, engine and pit departments. * Driver appearance and show car information. * Hendrick Motorsports news from around the Web. * Online store with a full line of merchandise. The organization’s new home on the Net also offers fans the opportunity to join the Hendrick “Champions Club,” which allows members to access additional features, including insider newsletters, special team store offers and more than 50 additional virtual tours, at no charge. Hendrick Motorsports partnered with InterCerve Inc. on the project, which took more than six months and 1,000 man-hours to complete.
