CONCORD, N.C. -- Hot off his first All-Star Race victory, Chase Elliott will be rolling off the grid in eighth when the Cup Series field travels to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.
Alex Bowman will follow with a 12th-place start, William Byron will rev his engine in 18th and Jimmie Johnson will round out the Hendrick Motorsports crew with 20th-place start.
The starting lineup was set through a drawing based on the drivers' current Cup Series standings that include all the completed races so far this season.
Aric Almirola secured the pole position.
The race at Texas Motor Speedway will be Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
