CONCORD, N.C. -- The Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LEs will be back in action Sunday for the second part of the weekend's doubleheader.
Chase Elliott will be sporting a fresh and bright Mountain Dew scheme on his Chevrolet, which will be a big change from the NAPA AUTO PARTS scheme he will be rocking for Saturday's race.
Like with Saturday's event, Jimmie Johnson's No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE will feature a special paint scheme to recognize the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and Ally Fueling Futures. The Fueling Futures program, a collaboration between Ally Financial and the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, debuted in 2019 as a way to introduce teens and young adults to science and technology careers in motor sports.
The program will be virtual this year and a new content series can be viewed on Ally Racing's social media channels.
The second race of the doubleheader weekend will take place on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The paint scheme for Sunday's race can be seen here.
