CONCORD, N.C. -- William Byron will lead the charge for Hendrick Motorsports for the beginning of Sunday's race at Michigan International Speedway.
The driver of the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE will start in seventh for the event. Jimmie Johnson will start in ninth, Chase Elliott will roll off the grid in 14th and Alex Bowman will round out the group in 21st.
The field was set based on the results of Saturday's race at Michigan. The top-20 finishers had their positions inverted for Sunday's race and everyone who placed 21st and below will start in those spots.
Chris Buescher will start in the pole position.
