CONCORD, N.C. – Three Hendrick Motorsports will start the race at Daytona International Speedway inside the top 10 for the final event of the regular season.
William Byron and Jimmie Johnson, both vying for a playoff spot, will start sixth and seventh, respectively. Alex Bowman will help push his teammates through the pack in eighth.
Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team will round off the Hendrick Motorsports drivers in 27th.
Kevin Harvick will be in the pole position for Saturday's race.
The official lineup was set based on Sunday's results at Dover. The starting positions for Saturday’s race were calculated through the new metric system that was set in place at the beginning of August.
The final race of the 2020 season will start on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
