CONCORD, N.C. -- Eyes will be on Talladega Superspeedway this Sunday as Hendrick Motorsports and the rest of the NASCAR Cup Series field prepares for the second playoff race in the Round of 12.

Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman are chasing their first Cup Series championship while Jimmie Johnson and William Byron will try to add to their superspeedway success. The last time there was a superspeedway race this season was at Daytona International Speedway on Aug. 29, which saw Byron win his first Cup Series race.

Here is everything you need to know to tune in to Sunday's race at Talladega.

WHAT TIME IS PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING?

Since NASCAR is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the teams and personnel at the track, there will be no practice and no qualifying.

The starting order for Sunday's race was announced Wednesday morning based on the new metric system put in place at the beginning of August.

WHAT TIME IS THE RACE?

The race will be on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC.

The race will be available on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
