CONCORD, N.C. – William Byron will hit the track in a distinct and bright Chevrolet for two races this summer.
On Friday, primary sponsor Axalta revealed ElectroLight, its Global Automotive Color of the Year 2021, and Cromax XP, Axalta’s new solventborne basecoat, will be on board Byron’s No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE for the Pocono doubleheader on June 26 and 27.
Byron expressed his excitement over running the scheme at “The Tricky Triangle” and posed next to the display car at Daytona International Speedway.
“You guys like this paint scheme so much that we’re going to bring it back for the doubleheader at Pocono later this year,” Byron said.
