CONCORD, N.C. – The Hendrick Motorsports drivers will head to Dover International Speedway this Sunday, ready to tame the 1-mile Delaware track.
Coming off three top-10 finishes at Darlington, the Hendrick Motorsports teammates are ready to build on their runs to capture a victory at “the Monster Mile.”
Kyle Larson won at the track in October 2019 and Chase Elliott took home his second NASCAR Cup Series win in October 2018 after he won at Dover in overtime.
William Byron’s track-best finish of fourth place came in the second race of the at Dover in August 2020 and Alex Bowman also will look back on his fifth-place finish in the second race of the 2020 doubleheader to prepare for this Sunday’s race.

WHAT TIME IS PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING?
Since NASCAR is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the teams and personnel at the track, there will be no practice and no qualifying.
The starting order for Sunday's race was announced Wednesday morning based on the metric system put in place last August.
WHAT TIME IS THE RACE?
The race will start on Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FS1.

Four races at Dover have ended past its scheduled distance with Hendrick Motorsports winning each time. Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson was victorious in three of those events – 2005, 2015 and 2017 – while Elliott won in overtime in 2018.
