Busch Paces ARCA Happy Hour at Kentucky

SPARTA, Ky. (May 9, 2003) – Driving the No. 87 ditech.com Chevrolet, Kyle Busch posted the fastest time during the final “Happy Hour” practice for Saturday’s ARCA Series event at Kentucky Speedway. With a lap of 32.533 seconds and 165.985 mph, Busch bested his fourth-place qualifying time from earlier in the day. The 18-year-old has placed first or second in every ARCA practice in the two events he’s entered in 2003. Pole-sitter Frank Kimmel was second in the session at 32.880 seconds and 164.234 mph. Saturday’s Channel 5 – 205 is scheduled for an 8 p.m. EDT green flag and will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel.
