CONCORD, N.C. -- The final race in the NASCAR Cup Series Round of 12 will take place this weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course, or the ROVAL, as eight drivers look to move on to the next round of the playoffs.

Out of three Cup Series races on the ROVAL, Chase Elliott has won two of them and has led a total of 62 laps at the 2.28-mile road course. The 25-year-old driver won three cutoff races in a row during his 2020 championships season, including the ROVAL, Martinsville Speedway and Phoenix Raceway.
