GMAC Racing Qualifies 15th at Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (Feb. 21, 2003) – Brian Vickers will start tomorrow’s Rockingham 200 in 15th after completing NASCAR Busch Series qualifying on Friday afternoon despite limited practice and a two-hour delay for rain. Vickers guided the No. 5 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet to a lap of 151.949 mph and will start inside row eight next to Ashton Lewis and his No. 46 Chevrolet. David Green captured the pole for the event by speeding his way to a lap of 154.429 mph driving the No. 37 entry. Saturday’s Busch Series race can be seen live on FX beginning at 12:30 p.m. EST.
