International Speedway, posting a 188.111-mph lap in the No. 48 Lowe’s Chevrolet. Four-time Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon was 11th in the session at 187.692 mph in the No. 24 DuPont Monte Carlo, followed by 16th-place Terry Labonte in the No. 5 Kellogg’s / got milk? Chevy. David Green was 26th in the No. 60 HAAS Automation Chevrolet, with Joe Nemechek 35th in the No. 25 UAW-Delphi Monte Carlo.
