CONCORD, N.C. - Hendrick Motorsports vice chairman and NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon will serve as the honoree of The Amelia on March 2-5, 2023.
The Amelia is Hagerty's annual Florida car collector event at Amelia Island for automotive enthusiasts. To learn more about the event, click here. In August, Hagerty and Hendrick Motorsports announced a new partnership.
"Jeff embodies the spirit of The Amelia, often referred to as ‘the racer’s concours’," McKeel Hagerty, CEO of Hagerty, said. "His incredible success on the track has made him a household name, but Jeff is more than a legendary driver. His charitable heart is on display at Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, where he has led the battle to find a cure for childhood cancer for more than two decades."

The weekend will include a seminar on Saturday, March 4, with Gordon and NASCAR Hall of Fame crew chief Ray Evernham. Gordon and Evernham won three Cup Series championships together during their legendary run as a driver-crew chief pairing. On Sunday, March 5, the event will showcase a class of vehicles that Gordon drove and won with in his career as part of the Concours D'Elegance.
During his Cup Series career, Gordon won the third-most races (93) and earned four championships. Over the course of his 25-year career in the sport's top series he drove exclusively for Hendrick Motorsports.
