CONCORD, N.C. -- This weekend, Hendrick Motorsports heads to the final road course of the season when the NASCAR Cup Series takes to the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL.

In the five years that the ROVAL has been utilized, the organization has won three times. Chase Elliott has two wins (2019 and 2020) and Kyle Larson has one victory (2021) there. Those triumphs are part of Hendrick Motorsports' series-best 27 wins on road courses.

This race represents the final race in the Round of 12. Thanks to his win at Texas Motor Speedway at the start of the round, William Byron and the No. 24 team are locked into the Round of 8. Larson remains in the hunt for the driver championship, while both the Nos. 5 and 9 teams are looking to advance in the owner championship.

Larson will have the HendrickCars.com paint scheme on the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Since coming to Hendrick Motorsports in 2021, the 31-year-old driver has four road course wins. All of Larson's victories this season have come with HendrickCars.com as the primary partner.

Elliott's No. 9 Chevy sports the colors of primary partner NAPA Auto Parts for this weekend's race at the ROVAL. His two wins at this track are among his seven victories on serpentine layouts, which is the best mark among active drivers. His 94 laps led at this track top the field.

Byron will debut the No. 24 Z HP Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Charlotte. Announced last week, HP Inc. is expanding its partnership with Hendrick Motorsports and will be a primary partner on Byron's No. 24 for two races in each season from 2024 to 2026. The 25-year-old driver's 80 laps led are second only to Elliott at this track. He has one road course win, which came this season at Watkins Glen International

Alex Bowman's No. 48 Ally Chevy carries the white-based "day" scheme for this weekend's race. His 6.00 average finish at the ROVAL is the best among all drivers and he has finished in the top 10 in all four of his starts, with a best finish of second (to Elliott) in the 2019 race. Two of his top four top-five finishes this year (third at Circuit of The Americas and fifth at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course) have come on road courses.

Tune in on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, NBC Sports App, PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) for all the action from North Carolina. Check out the paint schemes for this race below.
