CONCORD, N.C. – NASCAR will take to the Music City this week for its annual awards presentation in Nashville, Tennessee. The 2023 NASCAR Awards will be held at the Music City Center on Thursday, Nov. 30. MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) will carry the celebration at 7 p.m. ET. Peacock will broadcast the show on Sunday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. ET.

The stars of the sport will take to the red carpet for the fourth year in the country music capital of the world. In addition to the three national series champions being honored, all playoff drivers are expected to be in attendance and take part in the program.
In 2023, Hendrick Motorsports drivers William Byron and Kyle Larson both reached the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway. Byron won a series-best six races and finished third in the final standings. Larson led the most laps in the series (1,127) and placed second in the standings.

The winner of the National Motorsports Press Association’s Most Popular Driver Award presented by Hooters is announced during the show as well. A Hendrick Motorsports driver has won the award 17 times in its history. Darrell Waltrip took the honor in both 1989 and 1990. Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the award all 10 years he was with the Rick Hendrick-owned organization from 2008 to 2017 as part of a record 15-year-in-a-row run of taking home this hardware. The past five seasons have seen Chase Elliott win the award, which is voted on by fans.
On Wednesday, Nov. 29, fans can take part in NASCAR House. It will be held on Fifth and Broadway from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT and feature drivers, live on-stage programming, engaging and immersive fan activities and more.
