JINYA Ramen Bar is the Official Restaurant partner for Larson and the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports team. Known for its slow-cooked approach to ramen, made from broths simmered for 20 hours in-house, JINYA is a contemporary Japanese dining establishment with over 60 restaurants in North America. JINYA teamed up with the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion last season and has branding on Larson's fire suit, team apparel and a post-race hat when the No. 5 team reaches victory lane.
Larson is attempting to qualify for the Indianapolis 500, and if he does, he will run "The Double," the Indy 500 and the Cup Series' Coca-Cola 600 on the same day, Sunday, May 26. Through a partnership between Arrow McLaren and Hendrick Motorsports, the 31-year-old driver will be behind the wheel of the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet and Hendrick Motorsports team owner Rick Hendrick will be the car owner at Indianapolis. Only four drivers have done "The Double," with Kurt Busch being the most recent in 2014 and only one driver, Tony Stewart (in 2001), has completed all 1,100 miles of it.
