CONCORD, N.C. - After Hendrick Motorsports gave a valiant effort in chasing a 15th NASCAR Cup Series championship at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, it is still pursuing a 19th prize of a different kind.
Voting is still open for the National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver Award with the winner to be recognized at the NASCAR Awards Banquet in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Nov. 22.
Fans can vote for their favorite driver in the Cup, Xfinity and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series by clicking here. Voting will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 and fans can cast up to five votes per day from each unique address.

Chase Elliott has won the honor for six years running in the sport's premier series. Prior to that, Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the vote in 15 straight seasons, the last 10 of which came at Hendrick Motorsports, giving the organization 16 in a row. Darrell Waltrip was the first driver to claim the award for Hendrick Motorsports, winning in 1989 and 1990.
Bill Elliott, Chase's father, has the won the award the most, topping the vote 16 times throughout his career.
