CONCORD, N.C. - The NASCAR Cup Series makes its initial voyage westward this weekend and also takes its first trip around a road course.
Both of those things could only mean good news for Hendrick Motorsports.
In fact, the organization has won two of the four races heldat Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas thus far with Chase Elliott (2021) and William Byron (2024) each visiting victory lane. Hendrick Motorsports also leads the Cup Series in top fives (eight), top 10s (nine), poles (two) and laps led (82) at the track.
This year, the circuit will run the 2.3-mile short course for the first time, bringing about some change. However, what won't be different, is that as always, Hendrick Motorsports entries will come dressed for success.
