AUSTIN, Texas - Three down, 33 to go. But so far in the NASCAR Cup Series season, all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers are in playoff position. 

And none more solidly than William Byron, who used a runner-up finish in Sunday's race at Circuit of The Americas to move into the lead in the points standings. Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman both rallied from early trouble for solid finishes and that kept them afloat as well. Elliott will enter the season's fourth race in a tie for fourth with Bowman in seventh. Finally, Kyle Larson is in 16th. 

Byron is already locked into the playoffs with a win in the inaugural DAYTONA 500.
