AVONDALE, Ariz. - Another solid showing for all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers on Sunday at Phoenix Raceway kept them in good standings in terms of the NASCAR Cup Series points standings.
Kyle Larson (third), William Byron (sixth), Alex Bowman (seventh) and Chase Elliott (10th) each finished in the top 10 in the desert and remain squarely in the playoff picture, with the top 16 drivers at the end of 26 regular season races making the cut.
Byron remains the points leader, helped along by 18 stage points on Sunday. Elliott sits fifth in points, one spot ahead of Bowman with Larson rounding out the group in 11th, up five positions from last week.
