HOMESTEAD, Fla. - Kyle Larson brought home a top-five finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series main event at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The No. 17 entry led 132 laps on the day.
Coming to the checkered flag, the Elk Grove, California, native was in command of the race, owning a 12.1 second lead to the runner-up spot on lap 185. However, a late-race caution sent the race to overtime. On the ensuing restart, Larson was unable to hold off a hard-charging Justin Allgaier.
Ultimately, the No. 17 HendrickCars.com entry finished in the fourth spot.
