HOMESTEAD, Fla. - It was an exciting day of racing for Hendrick Motorsports and the NASCAR Cup Series. One that ended with Kyle Larson in victory lane at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
After starting 14th, Larson and the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet made steady gains throughout the race. Finishes of fourth in stage one and second in stage two showed not only progress, but a solid points day as well. All of this was in spite on contact on pit road from Josh Berry that resulted in damage to the car's rocker panel.

After a round of adjustments on the final pit stop, Larson would make his way through the front runners and past teammate Alex Bowman to score his first victory of 2025. The win also marks Larson's second career victory at Homestead.
But the solid run for Rick Hendrick's team does not end there. Although Bowman came up just short, the No. 48 Ally Racing team showed significant pace all weekend. After starting on the pole, the group earned finishes of second in stage one and sixth in stage two. Ultimately, it was Bowman's best career finish at Homestead.
The result was the 57th 1-2 finish in Hendrick Motorsports' history.
Both William Byron and Chase Elliott fought back from speeding penalties in the final segment to earn top-10 finishes. Byron was the third Hendrick Motorsports driver to score stage points in both segments while Elliott was able to score points via an eighth-place result in stage two. The No. 24 team would end up 12th while the No. 9 team came home 18th.
