CONCORD, N.C. - Darlington Raceway may be, "The Track Too Tough to Tame", but no organization has come closer throughout NASCAR history than Hendrick Motorsports

The organization will enter "Throwback Weekend" at the egg-shaped oval in South Carolina as the all-time leader in most statistical categories there including wins (16), poles (eight), top-five finishes (57), top-10 finishes (95) and laps led (4,016).

Among active drivers, Kyle Larson is among the best at Darlington. His 1,048 laps are the most and his average finish of 10.8 is second. Meanwhile, in the Next Gen era, nobody has been better than William Byron who boasts a Cup Series-leading average finish of 10.3 since the start of 2022. That also includes a victory and four top 10s in six starts.

Alex Bowman finished eighth in the spring race last year while Chase Elliott has four consecutive top-12 showings at the Lady in Black.
