September is Feeding America’s Hunger Action Month. AARP and AARP Foundation are teaming up to take action.
“Millions of older Americans are forced to make impossible decisions about whether they can afford to eat, see a doctor, or stay in their home,” said Jo Ann Jenkins, AARP Foundation president. “By teaming up with Feeding America this September for Hunger Action Month, we are able to encourage people to take specific actions to help end hunger among nearly 9 million older Americans.”
