CONCORD, N.C. -- When the announcement was made that Jeff Gordon would step away from full-time Sprint Cup Series racing after 2015, the first thing the driver wanted to do was tell the No. 24 team in person.
So he headed to the race shop to do just that, sharing a photo of the moment on Twitter.
