CONCORD, N.C. -- Next week, Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway will go head-to-head.
In the process, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Joey Logano will square off on the baseball diamond.
The third annual Team Dover vs. Team Pocono Celebrity Softball Game will take place on Tuesday, April 21, at 4:30 p.m. at ARM & HAMMER Park in Trenton, New Jersey.
Earnhardt and Logano will take part in the event as the two most recent winners of the Daytona 500. They will be joined by Todd Bodine -- a two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion and current FOX Sports 1 analyst -- as well as Miss Coors Light Amanda Mertz, members of the motorsports media and other special guests.
The game is free to those who have a ticket to that evening's matchup between the Trenton Thunder and New Hampshire Fisher Cats, which will begin on the same field at 7 p.m. Earnhardt and Logano are scheduled to throw out the first pitch.
Tickets to the Thunder baseball game start at $11 and are currently on sale. Gates for the softball game will open at 4 p.m.
Throughout both games, Dover and Pocono will be giving away tickets to their respective NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races being held in May and June.
The Dover race will take place on May 31, while the series heads to Pocono on June 7, which is where Jeff Gordon will debut his new No. 24 Axalta/Penn State Chevrolet SS. The paint scheme was unveiled on the Penn State campus Tuesday afternoon.
The softball series between the two tracks is currently tied at one win apiece. Pocono rallied for the victory in the inaugural game, and Dover answered with a walk-off win to even the series the following year.
