CONCORD, N.C. – Earlier this season, Hendrick Motorsports found success at Michigan International Speedway, adding a pole, a top-five finish and two top-10s to its statistics at the two-mile oval.
Kasey Kahne claimed the pole position and led the field to green. Teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. earned a runner-up finish in the rain-shortened race.
Last year in the August race, Jeff Gordon brought home the win.
Tune in to this Sunday’s event at the Irish Hills track to see what statistics the teammates will add and if Gordon is able to reach Victory Lane for a second consecutive fall win.
