CONCORD, N.C.—Have you ever had a once-in-a-lifetime experience while benefitting a great cause? Well, here’s your chance.
The Dale Jr. Foundation and Nationwide have partnered to offer an experience of a lifetime to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
Through Omaze, a non-profit organization designed to offer unique opportunities to those who support social missions and charitable causes, fans can bid on the opportunity to attend the Oct. 10 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, in addition to exploring Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s personal western town and race car graveyard during an exclusive tour of his property, Dirty Mo Acres.
The strong partnership between Earnhardt and the Nationwide Children’s Hospital has been significantly present throughout the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.
Earlier this year, Earnhardt made a visit to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he met dozens of young race fans and children battling their fights at America’s second-largest and third-busiest pediatric hospital and research center.
During the visit, Earnhardt signed autographs, took photos, handed out and received fan gifts and even spent some time playing video games against a patient.
“I could've sat there and played video games for hours with her because she was so much fun with it. She really made it an enjoyable experience – just that small little moment is something you won't easily forget at all,” he said.
To show their appreciation for Earnhardt’s memorable visit, Nationwide Children’s Hospital presented Earnhardt with a gift only a few weeks later—a frame with multiple photos and a thank you message.
Now, Earnhardt and Nationwide are including fans in the opportunity to support the children’s hospital. Join them by entering to win and donating to the Nationwide Children’s Hospital, here.
