LOUDON, N.H.- Jimmie Johnson will lead his teammates to the green flag at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the second race of the Challenger Round.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers advanced to the third and final round in Friday afternoon's qualifying session with Johnson, competing in the No. 48 Lowe's ProServices/Hitachi Chevrolet SS, posting the fifth-fastest speed.
Jeff Gordon, driver of the No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet SS, earned a 10th-place starting position for his final race at Loudon, while teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr. wheeled his No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS directly behind him in 11th on the speed chart.
Kasey Kahne, piloting the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS, rounds out the Hendrick Motorsports brigade with a 12th-place starting position.
Carl Edwards earned the pole position in Friday afternoon's qualifier.
