Martin to announce song for Bristol driver intros Sunday

BRISTOL, Tenn. (March 19, 2010) – During Sunday’s FOX pre-race show for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway, Mark Martin will reveal which song fans have chosen for his driver introduction. The show is scheduled to begin at noon ET on FOX and the green flag should drop for Sunday's 500-lap event at 1 p.m. Last week, Martin asked fans to visit MarkMartinRacing.com for help deciding which song he would walk out to during driver intros at Bristol. The NASCAR veteran narrowed the option down to three songs for fans to choose from:"If You Want Blood" by AC/DC; "Luv 4 Dem Gangstaz" by Eazy-E and "Where Are We Running" by Lenny Kravitz. Voting ended last Friday. This is the second race in a row that Bristol has allowed the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers to pick a song that they want to be played when they walk out on stage for pre-race activities. Last year, the driver of the No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet chose AC/DC’s “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”
