HOMESTEAD, Fla.-- The final race of Jeff Gordon's iconic career is only hours away.
And as he prepares to take his final ride in the No. 24 Chevrolet SS, Gordon has a special firesuit along with shoes and gloves that will be worn only in today's race.
The race-day attire will also include his special Homestead helmet, which you can see here.
Today's race is scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m. on NBC.
