Phoenix qualifying: Johnson, Martin in top 10

AVONDALE, Ariz. (Nov. 13, 2009) -- Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin will line up in the top 10 when the green flag drops in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Phoenix International Raceway. Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet and current points leader, will start third. Martin, who trails Johnson in the standings by 73 points, will begin Sunday's 312-mile event from the 10th spot in his No. 5 Kellogg's/CARQUEST Chevrolet. Jeff Gordon, who ranks third in the championship standings, will start 14th in his No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, while Dale Earnhardt Jr., driver of the No. 88 AMP Energy/National Guard Chevrolet, will roll off the grid in 18th. Race coverage of Sunday's Cup event starts at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
