CONCORD, N.C. -- Tuesday afternoon, Jeff Gordon was joined by Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick as they went from building to building throughout the Hendrick Motorsports campus.
The mission? To deliver commemorative rings to every Hendrick Motorsports team member.
The rings were designed to pay tribute to Gordon's two-plus-decade career with the organization and honor all of the team members who worked with him along the way.
Gordon helped showcase the occasion through his Instagram account, and you can check out a photo gallery here.
He even showed off his own version of the ring, specially made for the four-time Cup champion.
The hand-crafted ring is made from platinum, and the inside inscription features his name, career years, career highlights and the Hendrick Motorsports logo.
The bottom band is made of 93 diamonds representing his 93 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories. Two layered bands on top have 24 princess-cut diamonds to represent the No. 24, and there are four quadrants of diamonds for each of his Cup championships.
