CONCORD, N.C. -- Just two days remain until the winner of the Sprint Fan Vote will be announced, catapulting a driver into the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

And Chase Elliott is right in the thick of contention.

Fresh off his fourth top-five finish in the past six races, Elliott was recently identified as one of the top five vote-getters among the 25 competitors vying to make the All-Star Race.

His three Hendrick Motorsports teammates -- Kasey Kahne, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. -- have already qualified to participate in Saturday night's exhbition race with a $1 million purse.

Elliott can join them via fan vote or by becoming one of the three segment winners during Friday night's Sprint Showdown. The Rookie of the Year contender will pilot the No. 24 3M Chevrolet SS this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, when a pair of brand new paint schemes will make their debut for two of his teammates.

The Sprint Fan Vote closes this Friday, May 20, and fans can vote once a day until then. Votes shared via Facebook or Twitter will count double toward a driver's total. When you share your vote, make sure to use the hashtag #VoteChase to join the conversation.

The polls are still open -- make sure to cast your vote before time runs out!
