CONCORD, N.C. -- Jimmie Johnson is set to start tonight's NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race from inside the top five.
And he's been ready to get to work in the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet SS since this morning.
Unfortunately, as he prepares to take his Chevy to the dance floor, he had to miss a different kind of dancing due to Friday's inclement weather pushing All-Star Race practice to Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
It's already been a busy day for Johnson at the track. After finishing sixth in practice, he got in a little pre-race racing -- in Forza Motorsport 6, that is. He went one-on-one with Panthers tight end Greg Olsen in the game's NASCAR Expansion, which was released this week.
Olsen is the honorary pace car driver for the All-Star Race, and the No. 88 pit crew helped get him in NASCAR shape at the Hendrick Motorsports campus last week.
