DETROIT -- Kasey Kahne made a pit stop Thursday in the Motor City on his way to Michigan International Speedway for this weekend's race.
Detroit is home to Quicken Loans headquarters, one of the sponsors on Kahne's No. 5 Chevrolet SS.
The driver started his day off by participating in a Facebook Live segment on the Quicken Loans Racing page where he promoted the Drive Home A Winner Sweeps and answered fan questions. You can watch the video here if you missed it.
Kahne joined Derek Latka, VP of Business Development, on the stage in Campus Martius for a Q&A and also tossed out autographed No. 5 Quicken Loans team hats as well as three pairs of Detroit Tigers game tickets to the crowd.
The driver then took part in some photo opportunities with Quicken Loans team members by the show car that was on site.
With the Quicken Loans National quickly approaching, Kahne participated in a fun social media video, which prompted a response from pro-golfer, Rickie Fowler, who is also a Quicken Loans teammate.
Kahne ended his day in Detroit with a tour of the Quicken Loans headquarters by Bruce Schwartz, the Ambassador of Detroit.
