CONCORD, N.C. (May 7, 2009) – The Hendrick Motorsports Museum and Team Store has updated its exhibits and extended its hours for fans visiting during the upcoming race weeks.
Fans can share in Hendrick Motorsports’ 25th anniversary season by exploring the 15,000 square foot facility that displays the organization’s past and present through memorabilia and interactive displays.
Notably this month, fans can check out the No. 80 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet that Tony Stewart took to Victory Lane during the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on Feb. 14, 2009. Stewart, in his first-ever race for Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick, climbed from his fifth-place starting position and led four times for 23 laps during the 300-mile event.
Jeff Gordon’s first helmet, fire suit and various other original pieces of memorabilia also will be showcased this month.
