RICHMOND, Va. -- This weekend, some cars across the track at Richmond International Raceway will be supporting a special cause.
Kasey Kahne and Jimmie Johnson are among the competitors who will run a teal-colored steering wheel for the race.
September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and the teal steering wheels are designed to honor fellow competitor Martin Truex Jr. and his longtime girlfriend Sherry Pollex, who is an ovarian cancer survivor.
After the race, the steering wheels will be autographed and auctioned off at the end of September.
