RICHMOND, Va. -- In the final race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regular season, three Hendrick Motorsports drivers will start inside the top 11.

Kasey Kahne, driving the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS, will lead his teammates to the green flag at Richmond International Raceway in seventh.

Jimmie Johnson will join him inside the top 10, qualifying his No. 48 Lowe's ProServices Chevrolet SS 10th, with Jeff Gordon just behind him in 11th in the No. 88 Axalta Chevrolet SS.

Chase Elliott did not advance past the first round in Friday's qualifying session and will roll his No. 24 American Red Cross Chevrolet SS off the grid 34th.

"We're giving it our best effort, it just hasn't been where we need to be," Elliott said. "The good news is it's a long race tomorrow night. We have some teammates that are fast, so hopefully we can lean on them and try to get our Chevrolet a little better."

Denny Hamlin earned the pole position.

Saturday's race is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBCSN, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
