CONCORD, N.C. -- This summer, Hendrick Motorsports introduced the Dale Jr. No. 88 Special Edition Silverado, created with Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Now, with Bank of America 500 race week upon us, fans have a chance to see the eye-catching special edition truck up close.
From Tuesday morning until Saturday -- race day at Charlotte Motor Speedway -- the Dale Jr. No. 88 Special Edition Silverado will be stationed just outside the team store and museum on the Hendrick Motorsports campus.
Inspired by Earnhardt's personal journey with his favorite Chevrolet trucks, the unique ride features premium GM accessories including a signature sport bar with LED off-road lights, nudge bar and custom off-road step bars, along with black Chevy bowtie emblems and aggressively designed five-spoke wheels that fortify four rugged all-terrain tires.
"The Earnhardt name is synonymous with Chevy," Earnhardt said. "People know that that's a genuine relationship. So I think when they see that connected to a vehicle, there's some history there and some trust. It's been a great relationship on the track and off the track."

For those that can't make it to the Hendrick Motorsports campus to see it in person, Earnhardt personally gives fans a look at the truck he helped design in the video above.
"Making your truck unique and different from everything else out on the road is probably the best part about it," Earnhardt said. "Hopefully people want to own this truck."
