CONCORD, N.C. -- Before tackling 500 miles Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway, Kasey Kahne, Chase Elliott and Jimmie Johnson are taking on an extra "Hundred Mile Race" Friday morning.
Today at 11:30 a.m. ET, the latest episode of the hit animated preschool series "Blaze and the Monster Machines" featuring all three Hendrick Motorsports teammates will air on Nickelodeon.
Titled "The Hundred Mile Race," Johnson and Kahne -- as Dash and Fender -- join race car Blaze to compete in VelocityVille's longest race ever. Elliott -- as Mark Set-Go -- appears as the city's sensational starter who kicks off the race with his rock-star style and signature rhyme.
In the episode, the cars cross deserts, swamps and caves on the way to the finish line, all the while avoiding obstacles created by Blaze's rival, Crusher.
The Hendrick Motorsports teammates lent their voice to the animated series, which covers all areas of STEM in every episode, earlier this year.
